In spring the Landscape Park also glows during the day

Every spring, the light installation of the Landscape Park and the parks’ trees and plants compete against each other for the most striking colours.

Gardens, meadows and water courses bloom with blue asterisk, cherry trees or water lily. Our advice: It is especially lovely to wander through the alley of hawthorn near the so called Stadtrandgarten. Looking left and right, visitors can discover animals that have found a natural habitat in the Landscape Park. At the park live several species of bats, natterjack toads, around 100 species of beetles and more than 45 species of birds.
