Visitors’s Centre
Our Visitors’ Centre is situated in the Main Switching House. The building is to be found a few metres behind the park entrance.
The Tourist Centre is now situated where once 110,000 volts were fed into the ironworks’ power network. There are now just two huge transformers – one in the adjacent restaurant in the Main Switching House and one in the Visitors’ Centre – which recall the building's original use.
The Visitors’ Centre is the first point of contact for tourists. Here, in addition to information all about the Landschaftspark Duisburg-Nord and the Ruhr District, you can also obtain park plans, tickets for events and souvenirs.
The Visitors’ Centre is also the starting point for the guided tours of the park.

Monday to Friday: 9 am to 6 pm
Saturday, Sunday and Bank Holidays: 11 am to 6 pm
