A few rules…
The Landschaftspark Duisburg-Nord is a protected monument. Please leave the park as you found in.
You enter the park area and use its facilities at your own risk. The same applies, if you park your car at one of the various parking spaces.
The Landschaftspark Duisburg-Nord is a former industrial site and its special features pose additional risks. Please wear sturdy shoes. You’re liable for any damage to property and persons you might cause. The same applies, should the situation arise, to third parties acting on your behalf.
The public areas of the Landschaftspark are open 24/7 and entry is free. A green railing indicates safe access to facilities and buildings. Climbing over railings and entering sealed and fenced off areas is prohibited as this would pose a danger to life, and this is especially true of parkour.
There is no entry to the events halls or facilities which are closed for security reasons or construction work or because an event is currently taking place. Access to the climbing garden, high ropes course and diving gasometer must first be agreed with the respective operator.
Most of the park is accessible by wheelchair. But please bear in mind that not all roads are asphalted and the viewing platform on Blast Furnace 5, the Bunker Catwalk and the Sinter Catwalk are not wheelchair accessible. Detailed information is available at Barrier-free.
Duisburg Kontor Hallenmanagement GmbH is not liable for damage to private property caused by the intervention of third parties (theft, vandalism, arson, etc.). We advise you not to leave any property visible in your car.
Most of the park is accessible by bike. Not all pathways and roads are asphalted. In consideration to other visitors we ask for increased caution and a levelled speed. Please pay attention to pedestrians (with or without dogs) and especially children close to you.
Dogs are most welcome in the Landschaftspark Duisburg-Nord and can be walked on a lead in the park. But animals are not allowed in the events halls and at events.
No weapons, replica weapons, objects resembling weapons or paintball guns are allowed on the site.
All installations and the staging of events in the park grounds must be discussed in advance with Duisburg Kontor Hallenmanagement GmbH. Photography and filming are also possible in the Landscape Park, and there’s more about this in the Filming and Photography area.
Especially in winter, the weather can lead to limited availability of the car parks at the Landschaftspark Duisburg-Nord . Please note: there is a limited snow and ice clearing service! Please also be aware that, in the case of bad weather, ice or snow, Blast Furnace 5 and the storage bunkers 2-5 have to be closed to visitors for safety reasons as snow and ice pose a danger to life.
The instructions of the supervisory staff in the Landscape Park must be followed immediately.
