Charity campaign by schauinsland-reisen gmbh
schauinsland-reisen is one of the largest and most important tour operators in Europe. But in the company headquarters at Duisburg's inner harbor, the hearts not only beat for the big wide world, but also for the roots and the home of Duisburg. Social commitment is not just a top priority here, it is actively practiced. This is also the case at this year's schauinsland-reisen light market, where the tour operator will set up a photo box for visitors and hold a raffle with attractive prizes such as trips, sets with Lego bricks and other non-cash prizes. 100 percent of the proceeds go to the zebrakids e.V.. The non-profit association maintains a box in the MSV Duisburg stadium with the donation from the schauinsland-reisen-reisen light market, among other things, in order to enable seriously ill children and their families to take a short break from the often difficult everyday life.

Gabrieli Quartet
With the brass ensemble "Gabrieli Quartet" around Rüdiger Testrut and Otmar Müller (trumpets) as well as Jil Torkler and Martin Jannasch (trombones) you can hear Christmassy music at the Schauinsland-Reisen light market. The musicians are on the site at different times and inspire the guests with the power of their brass instruments and thus bring true celebration to the light market.
